Eternal Perspective
I feel that most of the time we are going on this life and we don't realize the bigger picture. I feel that we are so blinded by the temporary things that we forget its permanent consequences. We sometimes put ourselves in these situations when things go wrong we automatically look at the worse scenario. Our Faith is supposed to anchor ourselves to look at everything at an eternal perspective not just sit in our minds and do nothing. As we value the blessings that come along with knowing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help us. We will benefit from the Comfort that comes along by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our day to day actions and thoughts will prepare us for any scenario that may occur in our lives.
Elder Russel M Nelson quoted " If you've got Faith, you can handle difficulties knowing that with an Eternal perspective All will be well". We will live our lives with many trials and tribulations and will be tested of our Faith. And the reason isn't just because we can be blinded by the things of this world. Its also because we forget who we are and our purpose here in this Life.
As I personally have gone through times of trouble and need , I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Strength that it gives me in any tumultuous times. All those that read this I want to tell you to be Patient. Perfection takes time. We simply need to just take couple steps back and look at things in a more Eternal Perspective. No matter what the scenario I invite all to have Faith and keep moving and always remember that the Lord will always be there to comfort us and pick us up when we are down. I testify that everyone may remember that all we may go through are learning experiences as a trial of our faith. May we simply take several steps back and open our eyes to the perspective of the Lord and remember our identities and our purpose here in this life. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Clean Thoughts and Actions
Our actions are first lead by thoughts. Due to human nature we will tend to do the things that we think of.Its simple, Bad thoughts lead to bad actions. Good thoughts lead to Good actions. One simple thing to remember is that our Actions will be only as clean as our Thoughts.
This topic has definitely lead to some thoughts. One thing that came to mind was how easy my life would've been if I had just made better decisions. As I sat down and thought about this topic " Clean Thoughts lead to clean Actions" I felt that before I did act upon the things I did, I first thought of doing it.
I guess my entry for today is that we will first think about something before doing it. My thought to the frequently said quote " I didn't think before I did it" is not really true. Everything we do goes through our mind to the rest of our body. So before we actually do something, the thought of "should we I do this or not" doesn't necessarily come to mind all the time. But the thought that our mind knows everything we do just before we actually do it is definitely true.
Which means we NEED to constantly be thinking of good thoughts. As our thoughts are based off of righteousness our Actions will lead to righteousness. As we are constantly applying the doctrine of Christ into our lives we will gradually grow into having the habit to have good thoughts. It is a promise from the Lord that as we keep his commandments that he will have his spirit to with us. As his spirit is with us it will be a constant reminder of good thoughts. Faith without Action is Dead. When our Actions are not clean our Faith is not well shown to the World.
My love is to all of Gods children and along with this love is an invitation. An invitation to constantly have your thoughts center on the Lord Jesus Christ and his Atonement so they may lead to clean and righteous Actions. I promise that as you do these things you will always have nothing but good things to ever remember in your life. I testify that the as the Prophet Joseph Smith received his first vision that he thought many things. And those thoughts lead to great actions and great results. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Our Future is Only as Bright as Our Faith
Our Faith is a critical part of our future. It is by Faith that the Savior was able to walk the path that he walked. He knew the path that he was to walk was not going to be easy but he still did so. He did it because he had Faith, Desire, Hope and Confidence in the Fathers plan. Christ himself quoted " If ye will have Faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me". The Lord will only do what your Faith is willing to do. Mountains can be moved by having Faith in God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. That we can do anything if we just have Faith.
If we automatically assume that we are to fail ,we will fail. David did not go into battle with Goliath and say "I cannot beat this Giant". He went in faithful that the Lord would provide a way. The scriptures speak of a path that would be provided as we have Faith. This path will be prepared a more excellent way then any other path. Faith is the route that we must go through these day and times. Here are some words that come to mind that we must have, to walk upon this path. Desire,Hope and Confidence.
Desire is the will to get something done and accomplish any task at hand. Hope is another way of saying "I believe". Hope is the sign that you believe it can be done. Confidence in other words" wax strong" will allow your Desire and Hope to have power. Your confidence will be your sword in battle. It will help you to keep yourself on the path from those that will want to drag you off of it.
I feel that our future will only be, what we believe it will be. We will fall and sometimes just straight up fail. Our Desire will get us, to get up when we fall. Our Hope will build our Belief. Our Confidence will build or willingness to step up for what we believe. Overall our Future will depend on our Faith. How far are we willing to go with that Faith? The distance we are willing to go will be the same amount we have to seek the Kingdom of God. Not only our Future here on Earth depends on our Faith, but our Future after death, in seeking the Kingdom of God.
I invite all of to gain a Desire to return to the presence of God. Then to have hope that the Lord Jesus Christ will be there to aid you when you fall. And to have Confidence that the path that is described in the Scriptures is the path that the Lord wants you to take.I know that our Faith in the Savior Jesus Christ will allow miracles to happen within our lives. I promise you that our Future will be as Bright as our Faith! If it may be our future here on Earth or in Heaven and testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Conversion To Have a Full Surety Takes Time
25 years ago a man named Rik Hoskins was in search for truth and happiness. He met with the local missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, there in his hometown Martinsville, West Virginia. He was taught several Gospel principles and was later invited to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be Baptized by someone holding the Priesthood authority of God. He accepted the invitation to do so, but unfortunately he did not get baptized. He claimed that it wasn't the right time for him and did not have a full surety if what they shared was true.
A while back he then moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina. 30 yrs ago Rik started a business that took care of people with special needs. Throughout time Rik became a really successful man. Many people wanted what he had and did many things to get what he had. He was even poisoned. He was nearly killed by this incident. This experience impacted Rik for the rest of his life.
4 months ago their was a car parked on Riks property. Rik having the fear of once being poisoned within in his own home, he set up surveillance around his property. From the looks of one of his cameras their was a car parked on his property. He felt he needed to go and find out who was parking on his property to be sure of any suspicion. Come to find out, it was the missionaries from the church. They were just parking on the side of the road trying to find an address. He talked to them for a little and then invited them to come on in and then had the opportunity to share his story and past with the church. He agreed to continue to meet with them. And was later invited to be baptized. Once again an encounter with missionaries and was invited to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized.
On July 9th ,2013 I "Elder H.Tanielu" was called to serve in Winston Salem,NC. My very first day I was introduced to Rik Hoskins. I was told to prepare yourself, he is very intelligent. I must say I was intimidated. But I knew everything was going to be okay. I asked Rik to share a little about himself to me and he shared his story with me and mentioned that he was to be baptized on July 27th ,2013. He felt that after meeting with the missionaries after a while he gained a surety of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was really happy for him. Unfortunately the day of his baptism we received a text, that he felt that personally he was still not ready. We decided that we should give Rik the space that he needed.
Through time we eventually were able to set up a visit with Rik again. We talked about his past experiences with the Gospel and he then explained that he just felt this feeling of halt and felt no desire to yet be baptized. We shared more scripture with him and once again invited him to be baptized. He accepted to be Baptized on Sep,3 2013.
On Sep 3rd,2013 Rik Hoskins baptismal meeting was conducted. I had the privilege to give a talk on Baptism. I explained the three promised blessings of Baptism. 1st being able to be cleansed of our sins. 2nd we qualify to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. 3rd we are able to be part of the Lords kingdom and be a member of the Saviors Earthly ministry. As I shared these things I could see Rik starting to tear. How strong was the Spirit within this room. I knew that it was the day for Rik to be baptized because I felt that he now had a full surety of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Several minutes later Rik was fully immersed in water as the Baptism was performed. I truly felt the spirit as I was able to witness this big step that Rik had taken.
I witnessed a conversion of time and of a complete surety. My prayer is to all those searching for the Truth and feel they do not have a full surety, so they give up. Conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ takes time. A trial of our Faith creates a full surety of something. Rik Hoskins was invited to be Baptized three times and felt that he wasn't ready, but did he give up? No he did not. He had been poisoned and almost died but still gave the Spirit and the Lord the opportunity to testify to him to receive a surety of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My Brothers and Sisters Conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ takes time, I invite all to be patient and have the Faith to continue upon the path of Righteousness and gain the Surety that the same three promised blessings of Baptism promised to Rik can be promised and given to you. I testify these things to be true, that Conversion and a full surety of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to come precept upon precept, line upon line, a little here and a little there. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
